Bryan currently serves as Director of Governmental Affairs for the Citizens Utility Board (CUB), a nonprofit consumer advocacy group that represents the interests of residential and small business utility customers in Illinois through outreach, education, litigation, and policy advocacy. 

 

CUB works for lower energy rates while encouraging energy conservation.  In his nearly 18 years at the organization, he has worked with consumers, CUB colleagues, and individuals from other organizations to promote greater understanding and adoption of existing efficiency programs in Illinois, while advocating for better EE policy at the state and regional levels. Bryan worked to include energy efficiency in Illinois law and subsequently participated in the Stakeholder Advisory Group (SAG) where energy efficiency programs are discussed.
