Manager, Market Solutions & Education

As Manager, Market Solutions & Education, Kathryn coordinates programmatic activities that help MEEA advance energy efficiency for sustainable economic development and environmental stewardship in 13 Midwestern states. Current programs include training courses for building operators and real estate professionals, stakeholder collaboratives and support for K-12 schools considering facility updates. Prior to joining MEEA Kathryn supported energy efficiency and other sustainability initiatives as a Manager of ESG at Goby, a software company, and as a Project Manager at Elevate, another Chicago nonprofit. She began her career as an environmental educator and especially enjoyed her jobs as a Park Ranger at Arches National Park and an Educator at the Field Museum.

Kathryn holds a Master of Environmental Management, with a concentration in Energy and Environment, from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Outside of work Kathryn enjoys exploring the outdoors, typically on foot or bike, knitting, reading and spending time with family and friends.
