Denise Munoz is currently the Director of Strategic Planning and Innovation for ComEd.  She has the primary responsibility for the management, direction, planning and oversight of ComEd’s energy efficiency portfolio as part of the Future Energy Jobs Act (FEJA) that was passed into Illinois law in December 2016.  Denise was one of the original ComEd team members back in 2007 that worked on the strategic effort for the first energy portfolio plan submitted to the ICC and further helped stand up the first Energy Efficiency Department for ComEd.  She has proven experience in Energy Efficiency and a diverse background in Distribution Operations, Project Management, Marketing and Regulatory

Denise graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Chemical Engineering. Denise has been employed with Commonwealth Edison since 1992 and has performed in various supervisory and individual contributor roles over her nearly 28-year career with the company.
