This members-only workshop preceding MEEA's Annual Meeting explores three ways that we place value on energy efficiency in the Midwest. Evolving approaches to cost-effectiveness testing can affect how we demonstrate the value to utilities and the public of EE programs and portfolios. The increasing use of integrated resource planning (IRP) provides an opportunity to value EE as a long-term system resource. And the proliferation of Technical Resource Manuals (TRMs) provides a framework for the value placed on individual energy efficiency measures. During this workshop, experts will frame a facilitated discussion on each of these areas.
