Kelley has 15 years of diverse communications experience including over 10 years of music journalism and digital content creation, five years of field reporting and communications for a Fortune 500 energy company and roughly four years of professional business and event photography. She holds a B.A. in Sociology from Miami University and is currently pursuing an M.S. in Sustainability Studies from Lenoir-Rhyne University.

Though she previously lived in Chicago for a decade (Go, Cubbies!), she currently resides in Columbus, Ohio. For MEEA, she combines her passions for energy efficiency, social equity, ethical communications and advocating for improved building codes and policies to positively impact the people of Ohio, Midwest and Planet Earth.

Her commitment to justice shines through at home as well, where both a dog and a cat reign supreme. Her hobbies include soil/gardening, making art and appreciating guitar solos (the good ones).
