Associate, Building Codes & Policy
Isabella Puchkova is an Associate, Building Codes & Policy, at MEEA. She is responsible for developing resources and analyses on building energy codes and energy efficiency in North Dakota.
Isabella has experience working with environmental organizations, the Department of Energy, and ecological research labs. In these roles, she collaborated closely with stakeholders, studied environmental and community resilience strategies, and conducted research on coastal ecosystems. Isabella is a certified scientific diver; before joining MEEA, she assisted in chemical oceanography research at the National Taiwan University.
Isabella holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) in Environmental Studies with a minor in Chinese. In her free time, she enjoys creating pottery, practicing guitar, and playing volleyball.
