Carl Samuelson is a Product Manager at Michaels Energy, based out of their Minneapolis office. He takes pride in building a 14+ year career in an industry that plays a leading role in mitigating climate change. His work includes guiding large companies as they adopt strategic energy management practices; recruiting customers into retro-commissioning programs; conducting efficiency research on market sectors like hospitals, hotels, and restaurants; and facilitating an in-depth stakeholder process on electrification in his home state of Minnesota. In his current role at Michaels, Carl manages the implementation of commercial and industrial efficiency programs in Minnesota and Colorado, working with seven utility clients across a dozen programs. Carl is an enthusiastic father of three amazing children. In addition to being their dad, he loves to read, cook, play chess, and be outdoors.
