The ComEd Energy Efficiency Program is seeking qualified engineering firms to participate in our closed network of Service Providers for their Retro-Commissioning (RCx) Offering. Our Service Providers are tasked with bringing this valuable offering to eligible facilities over 50,000 sq.ft. in size and over 100 kW peak demand. Facility types include commercial office, healthcare, retail, hospitality, lodging and public buildings. Service Providers are paid for RCx studies of these facilities, with the ultimate goal being customer implemented measures that create cost-effective energy savings.
Not sure if your company would qualify for our closed network of Service Providers? Refer to this checklist for basic eligibility requirements:
- Do you have expertise in RCx?*
- Can you provide samples of thorough RCx reports and calculations from recent successful projects?
- Will you have dedicated resources for business development in the ComEd territory?
- Is your company in good standing with the Better Business Bureau (BBB)?
If interested in receiving the ComEd RCx RFQ or if you have any questions regarding the RCx Offering, please respond via the ComEd RCx Offering Service Provider interest form at eeserviceproviders.com/rcx-network-interest.
The RFQ will be released on Monday, June 3, 2024.
*RCx defined as building assessments/studies which result in the implementation of no-cost and low-cost operational measures such as scheduling equipment, optimization of economizer and outdoor air controls, chilled water temperature resets, etc., ultimately creating annual energy savings and reduced peak demand.
